Octopage is a dedicated markdown editor for GitHub-hosted Jekyll sites.

Now, you can create, edit, publish and delete your posts of website hosted on github pages from iPhone!

What if the internet goes offline ? No problem. You can save what you had written as a draft at any time. When internet is available later, you can just pick it and pulish to github.

√ Dedicated markdown editor
Everytime you create a post, you have your "YAML Front Matter" header already in the editor. You can just type what you want in the YAML templates and dont need to worry about its format.

Also when youre writng, you have all the widgets right on top of keyboard. From there, you can directly preview the post, play with settings of editor (e.g. font style, font size and file extension etc), insert common markdown elements, undo, move cursor pre/next and dismiss keyboard.

GitHub Flavored Markdown is supported.

√ Preview
You can preview markdown of post. The preivew render does support code syntax highlighting. One cool thing about it is that when you click the link and want to verify that link does point to correct address, you dont need leave the app and fire up safari, as we will render it in a popover under then link you clicked.

√ In-App web browser
Click the link in home view will render your website in in-app browser. You can verify whether the post shows up on your website after published.(It may take up to ten minutes until your page is available.)
